Annie K Designs-Fabulous Finds in Fabric

Meet Annie from anniekdesigns, a lovely upscale home decor and gift shop on Etsy.

Annie is a fellow member of the Design Style Guide Team, a website that concentrates their efforts to the world of interior design and home decor.

Annie's love of color and design and her ability to turn fabric into such amazing pieces is truly inspiring.  As a sewer myself I can honestly say that Annie's work is carefully and meticulously done and it shows.

This is a fabric envelope. What a unique idea. This would be great not only for your cards and letters, but also for a gift certificate to Annie's shop

In her own words:

I have been sewing since I was 10. My mom, grandmother and aunts all sewed. My aunt Lura, made a carpet quilt for her antique colonial dining room set. It was spectacular. I loved their creativity and envied their work.

I sewed doll clothes for my doll Judy at first. I had a hard time figuring out the neck and shoulders but I persevered. My mom was working so she wasn't around to help.

I continued to sew for what it seems to be forever. I watched Nancy Zieman and Shirley Adams to advance my skills. Still watch Nancy Zieman and order from her.

Many years later my company transferred me to NYC. I jumped at the chance and attended Parson's School of Design where I earned my degree in Fashion Design.

Annie's shop carries a wonderful variety of handmade fabric gifts and decor for your home. What I have shown here is only a sampling. I hope you will stop by and take a peek.  She also offers custom designs should you want something specific.

Brand New Blog!

I am working on a brand new blog that will feature suppliers on Etsy.com. I recently joined the Etsy Supply Street Team (ESST) because I have a mosaic supplies shop on Etsy and wanted a way that I could promote all of us.

Every one of us needs supplies of one kind or another whether it's paints and canvas, cooking essentials, crafting supplies, beads, fabrics...and the list goes on. This will be a blog that will give you another resource for finding what you need.

I plan to feature a new shop every few days so I hope you will stop by often and check them out. You don't have to be an online seller to buy from these shops. If you are a do-it-yourself er and just need some quality supplies feel free to check out the Etsy Supply Street Team on Etsy.com or pop on over to my blog Memories Mosaic Supplies.
