Circus Museum in Sarasota

My husband and I are heading out to Sarasota, Florida today to visit the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus museum. It sits on 66 acres and has the museum, mansion that Mabel and John Barnum lived in, and a theatre showing how they started. It even has a tram to run you around if you choose.

Sarasota sits on the Gulf Coast of Florida just south of Tampa. Our orginal plan was to find a good play to attend as Melbourne lacks in the performing arts area. Sarasota is loaded with the "artsy" stuff and I was so hoping to find at least a dinner theatre to attend. Unfortunately during the summer the plays are at an all time low throughout the State. Not sure if it's because of the heat or what. I do remember Denver having less going on in the summer too.
So the next best thing would could find to do was to see a few museums as both of us love that sort of thing.

I should have my pictures up by Tuesday, so stop back by.
