Just got an email from my sister-in-law, Sally, and we are going to get together and have a girl's day. One day where we can complain, laugh, cry, watch old romance (or new romance) movies and eat what we want.
I highly recommend it for everyone that can do this as women need women. We just "get" each other and it feels great to be understood.
What else is great about it is we don't have to dress up or even wear makeup if we don't want to. There is no one there to make us feel like we don't measure up.
I don't have a lot of girlfriends as it never mattered to me, but I am very fortunate that the women in my life are there because I chose for them to be. And I chose them to be because they are special and unique in their own way.
