My "Addam's Family" Backyard

There has been so much talk in the Etsy forums about the weather that I thought I would show you that even the sunshiny state of Florida gets a bad winter.

This is the "before and after the freeze" pictures of my pool area.
The first one is lush and green and full and very private.



The second picture looks like something out of the "Addam"s Family" movie. Our entire neighborhood looks like this as the temperatures dipped to 26 degrees a few nights last month.
We covered many of our plants but most were not designed to live in those extreme cold temperatures.

Fortunately, we think many of them will come back if we just leave them alone for now.

In this photo you can barely see the plant next to the "Traveling palm" and between the two "Yuccas" that has completely died out. It was so full it was hanging over the pool so we were getting ready to cut it back. :(
