We had the kids and grandkids over for the 4th of July and put on a little show for them in our front yard. After a lot of ribs, potato salad and homemade ice cream sandwiches everyone was lazing on the grass waiting for the show.
I remember doing this when we were kids and all the neighbors were out too. Unfortunately, we were the only people out front that night so it didn't have the effect I felt when I was young.
