Easy Children's Bathroom Decor

For those of you who might be looking for a somewhat simple idea for a kids' bathroom-this partial paint and partial store bought decorative fish one is relatively easy.

Since I live in Florida what better theme than fish. I painted the walls a royal blue and did a wave design at the top rather than have to cut in all around the ceiling. Next I just drew some swirly seaplants and painted them a dark green, then a medium, then a light, leaving some dark ones in the background.

The clam shell was something I got off the back of the "Little Mermaid" dvd. Just drew it with some pencil first then used purple paint to cover it. Highlighted at the seams of the clam with a white mixed with the purple. I stuck in little "peep" eyes inside the clam just for fun.

The octopus really wasn't that hard to draw. You can just experiment on paper and make sure he has eight legs and a bubble head. Paint it a gray color and highlight with some white mixed with the gray.

Make some sort of ground cover. Mine was just uneven rows of different colors.

Lastly, I hung the tin fish I got from a store on the wall. I had always planned on painting fish, but why bother when you can get something already done.

Use your imagination and come up with something fun to do. I knew my grandkids would be using this pool bath so this one was for them
